Looking for Men for Wed. Co-Ed Team

April 12, 2017 at 11:56 am | Posted in Uncategorized | 15 Comments

I am taking over as manager for a team that has been playing for 30 years. It is a good mixture of young and old. Looking for a couple men to join the team for the summer as we lost a few from last year’s team. We play Wednesdays at the Mapleton fields.

  2. Hey!
I am 25 and I have been playing baseball my whole life and coach competitive in my spare time. I play 1st base well and can also catch and have a pretty solid bat. I am a nurse. I don’t work wednesdays much (only one I know of is in a couple weeks). Feel free to email me at anytime.
    Thanks

  3. I am a slow-pitch pitcher with over 18 years experience looking to play here in Boulder. Have played at levels ranging from church-league to TN State invitational, most recently on our company team in Denver. Love to play, enjoying both the fun and the competition. Please let me know if you are in need of a pitcher. Thanks!

    • Send me your email Jeff, our current pitcher is happy to play in the field.

  4. Hey There – I was actually trying to post to this blog about this as I’m looking to join a summer league as well… My wife and I moved here from SF about a year ago and finally getting around to joining a league to have some fun and meet some new softball folks. I was the captain of my team for several years out there before leaving and always liked to try and strike a good balance of being competitive but not taking ourselves too seriously at the same time. I played baseball all through high school but wasn’t good enough to play in college… I’ve played in softball leagues ever since and can and will play just about any position, wherever you need me. Oh yeah, I am 37 now if it matters. I’d like to try and find a fun but semi-competitive team and figured this was a better way than a league just placing me on a team.

  5. Thanks to all that have responded. Please send me your emails. I will give you details on the team and make sure this is a right for you based on the competition level you are looking for.

  6. Hi! I’m happy to hop in if you’re still looking. I’m a 29-year-old guy who moved back to Boulder last year. I considered pursuing baseball professionally and won a state championship in NC, so I bring skill, but also happy just having fun after multiple years of IM or rec league softball. Let me know!
